The garage is often the one room that is entirely his. This sign says so in bold, upright block letters: his name or nickname on top and the word Garage, Workshop or Shop underneath.
Father's Day, a retirement or a fortieth birthday are common reasons to order one, and it looks right above a tool wall, pegboard or workbench.
Garages can get dusty and cold, which is fine for the sign, but keep it out of direct rain and away from welding or grinding sparks. Wipe the acrylic with a dry cloth now and then.
